The next generation of the Falcor sets a new standard in snowboard binding design and introduces the future of sustainable materials at Union. This high-performance freeride/freestyle binding is specifically engineered for Travis Rice’s aggressive riding style and is built to take on the steepest lines and most demanding terrain.

The Falcor features substantial heel-to-toe flex for lightning-fast response and precise turn initiation. The torsional flex is intentionally reduced with the use of a mini disk, allowing the board to flex naturally under the bindings—adding a freestyle feel without sacrificing responsiveness, exactly what Travis needs.

Eco-Conscious Materials – Duraflex Blue

Union joins the eco movement with the use of Duraflex Blue, a new sustainable material featured in the Falcor.
90% of this material is derived from sustainable sources—bio-waste, renewable energy, and recycled content. It fully retains its performance in cold temperatures and reduces CO₂ emissions by over 60% compared to traditional materials.

  Union’s dual-layer baseplate construction uses two individually tuned layers: the Core and the Frame. Each layer can be made with different materials and stiffness to optimize the ride feel.

• BASEPLATE FRAME: Asymmetrical Halo Base Frame
  Softer and more flexible than traditional bases, the Asym Halo Frame brings a new freestyle-friendly ride feel and allows for enhanced torsional flex. It also connects the baseplate core, footbed, heelcup, and strap system. Made from sustainable Duraflex Blue.

• CUSHIONING: Asym Molecular Bushing
  These molecular bushings outperform traditional EVA foam in both durability and shock absorption. They act as a suspension system between the binding and board, dampening vibrations on hardpack snow. The asym shape adds freestyle flex and encourages natural inward alignment.

• HIGHBACK: Asym Forged Hybrid Highback
  Crafted from eco-friendly Duraflex Blue and Italian Forged Carbon, this hybrid highback provides Travis Rice with a stiff, responsive carbon spine for instant edge control, and a flexible nylon frame for freestyle mobility and comfort. Its updated asymmetric shape matches the rider's leg angle for an ergonomic fit. 10% lighter than the previous generation.

• ANKLE STRAPS: Hybrid 1.0 Ankle Strap
  Maximum response meets all-day comfort. The Hybrid 1.0 combines a rigid external Exoframe with a soft, elastic Forma liner. The V-cut shape ensures a snug, pressure-free fit. Lightweight, durable, and ultra-comfy—already a favorite among Union’s pro team.

  A split-frame design separates the outer and inner toe strap components for the perfect fit on any boot. A new, integrated toe connector gives the binding a sleek, finished look.
